The Emergence conference, which took place on 5 and 6 December at the Prague Congress Centre, attracted leaders from the cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital asset industries. For this event, which was hosted by The Block, we delivered a unique light installation in collaboration with the production teams of JCHP and XLAB, which was the highlight of one of the congress halls.

The technical solution for 288 metres of LED strips.

The main part of our implementation was 288 metres of digital LED strips that created an immersive atmosphere on stage. The installation had to be flexible and portable, which meant avoiding the usual aluminium diffusers. We designed the entire system to be easily transportable and reassembled for future events.

For this installation we used our Spectoda Pixel PRO controllers with a new IO concept that allows support for ART-NET and sACN protocols. This allowed us to synchronise the lighting installation with the Resolume Arena software that controlled all the stage equipment. The ART-NET signals were smoothly converted to animations on the LED strips, resulting in a perfect visual experience.

Other elements of the installation

In addition to the LED strips, we also supplied the popular SpectaSticks light bars that illuminated the photo booth and the light sleeves that lined the stage. These additions added to the overall visual effect and impressive atmosphere at the event.

The Emergence Conference was not only a technological challenge, but also an opportunity for us to collaborate with the JCHP and XLAB teams on a prestigious event. Thank you for the great collaboration and we look forward to the future joint projects to come.
