Through decorative lighting, we created an inspiring atmosphere at the TEDxPragueYouth 2024 event. This event on the theme Halfway, held on 6 April 2024 at the Václav Havel Airport in Prague, was the 11th meeting with inspiration for young people. The theme of the conference was the idea that each of us is halfway somewhere at any given minute of our existence. 

The organizers set out to present the different paths and destinations of life's journey and to point out that the journey itself is often more important than the destination.

Our work began with an introductory light show that illustrated a video projection mapping the last 10 years of TEDxPragueYouth. This show gradually revealed the different lighting elements and at the end celebrated the full flowering of ideas and inspirations that TEDx brings. Luminous gates were placed on stage that pulsed when someone passed through them to remind attendees that every step of the journey has meaning. The light modules, along with the glowing sleeves placed on the ground, created a runway symbolizing a journey that can be full of obstacles but also full of possibilities.

Throughout the event, we controlled the lights to add to the atmosphere and support the thematic intent. The lights were synchronised with the flow of the various lectures and activities to best complement the content of the programme.
