The newly released SC Industry model can accommodate up to four PIR sensors at once.
More flexible installation. Fewer devices. Same reliability.
We have some news for you – our SC Industry controller is now also available in a version that allows you to connect up to 4 PIR sensors simultaneously.
What does this mean for your projects?
Previously, it was only possible to connect one PIR sensor to one SC Industry controller. This could be impractical, for example, in:
- industrial halls,
- warehouses and logistics centers,
- long aisles where multiple detection zones need to be covered.
With the new version, one controller is sufficient for up to four sensors.
This makes installation:
- more economical,
- simpler,
- less space- and wiring-intensive.
What PIR sensors does Spectoda support?
Our approach is open and flexible – we do not develop our own sensors, but allow the integration of those that have already proven themselves in practice.
We support common PIR sensors that switch phases (so-called Slave mode). We do not support DALI PIR sensors in Master/Slave mode.
Important: SC Industry replaces the function of the DALI Master PIR sensor – no additional Master is required.
What about light control?
Frequently asked question:
"Can SC Industry control lights at the same time when operating multiple PIR sensors?"
The answer is yes. Even with connected sensors, SC Industry can control up to 16 DALI drivers in the standard way.
Summary
- Up to 4 PIR sensors per SC Industry
- Fewer devices = more economical installation
- Compatibility with common phase-switching sensors
- SC Industry replaces the DALI Master PIR sensor function, and in addition to 4 PIR sensors, up to 16 DALI drivers can still be connected to it
