Digital gallery in the center of Prague

At Rytířská 10, in the historic Old Town Market Hall building, a new permanent digital art gallery called Signal Space has been created under the auspices of the team behind the world-famous Signal Festival.

The gallery offers space for light installations, sound experiments, and interactive media. And we at Spectoda had the opportunity to contribute two unique elements – and ultimately the complete control of the entire lighting system.

Our role: light that reacts and creates atmosphere

1. Digital RGBW LED strip in the entrance hall

Illuminates the wall using preset animations and visual scenes.

2. "Silicone snakes" in the café area

Flexible structures made of Neon Flex LED strips that create an ambient effect and react to the environment.

Both installations run autonomously, but can be synchronized or adjusted in real time according to other lighting elements in the space.

Integrated control of the entire gallery

Our collaboration did not end with the strips. Based on the initial integration, we took over the control of all lighting fixtures throughout the gallery—from spotlights to track lighting systems. Most of the lighting fixtures used come from the Czech manufacturer Halla.

We collaborated on the entire solution with Signal Space CTO Martin Vronský, who says:

Significant reference – The project in the center of Prague, under the auspices of the Signal Festival, confirms the quality of our approach – both technically and in terms of design.

• Unified system – It shows that Spectoda can control various types of lighting, from LED strips to designer spotlights.
• Similar to - the OD Máj arcades, where we integrated various technologies into a single system, here too we confirm that unified lighting control is not just a technical solution, but a significant benefit for the entire operation.
• Art + technology – This is exactly the type of environment where Spectoda makes sense. A silent technological layer that discreetly supports the artistic experience without disturbing it. It is present but invisible – the lights react in real time but remain in the background.
